Looks like another boy!

Just a quick post to say that we had our detailed ultrasound today, and it looks like we'll have another boy. Everything looked fine, so we are very happy and excited. I don't blog much about the son I already have, and the same will be true for this next one, other than to say how much I love them and how grateful I am to have them. I can answer questions like what names we're thinking of in private; I never post names in public. These poor children will have enough embarrassment with a geek like me for a mother without me advertising the fact online.

And now it looks like I'll be permanently outnumbered in the family!

  2. Yeah, a little buddy or a little sidekick or a little rival. Probably a bit of all three! Thanks :-)

  3. Woooot! Congratulations!!

I still remember how filled with wonder I was at our big, revealing ultrasound. Seeing him that way felt like an absolute miracle - one of those times when science felt like magic.

I'm so happy for you guys!

  4. CONGRATULATIONS! The only thing better than a little boy is TWO little boys! I'm sure you'll "dream" up an amazing name for him. Take care...

  5. Thanks guys! Our son was the only person who didn't seem all that touched when he saw the ultrasound. I told him to never complain that we didn't warn him what's coming.

And Diane! Always good to hear from you *hugs*

  6. Hugs back at you and all the guys!

We just learned, at the emergency room last night, that Alan has a broken bone on his right foot. I'll be tied up for the next... who knows how long... with me in a boot after ankle surgery and him in a cast. What are the chances this could happen all at once?! Thank God I have a sense of humor.

  8. Hooray! Congratulations!

I'm sure you'll do a fine job of warping both your sons with your geeky, authorly ways. :-)
