Okay, so it did also occur to me that it would be just my luck to have Mubarak step down just as I was posting a blogpost about watching the revolution in Egypt. Not that I feel I actually contributed in any material way :-) As they say in Egypt, mabrouk (congratulations) and thanks for showing the world how it's done.
There appears to be a hard earned street party happening all across Egypt. Me, I only know the jubilation of seeing the person I voted for be elected president, and I'm guessing Egyptians are feeling that feeling times a million. Here's hoping the majority also know the emotion I just described, come this September.
