The
list of Emmy nominations is out, and George RR Martin's
Song of Ice and Fire, on HBO, has thirteen nominations. I still haven't seen the series, what with not having a television and all, nor have I read much of
Dance of Dragons - which is to say, I haven't read the published book and have no idea how much has changed since the unpublished drafts of chapters I have read. So, basically, I'm a terrible George RR supporter, but I did introduce him to his assistant and used to give George rides to writer's group... yeah... I critiqued his early drafts of this book well enough that he at least pretended to take notes? lol. Yeah, that's all I've got ;-)
All the same, all of us from the New Mexico horde of writers (who blanket the state thick enough to form a sludge) are happy to cheer on one of our own. Go George!
