You may have noticed that I didn't blog last week (actually, I don't expect anyone's really paying that much attention, but in case anyone is, sorry!) I was working on the final edits and compilation for my Clarion West class's reunion anthology, Under the Needle's Eye. This has been such a rewarding project to work on. It's incredible to see where my classmates have gone, creatively, in the eleven years since we were at Clarion West together.
Back in 2001, blogging was still new enough that we were actually one of the first years to have people blog from the workshop. I'm so grateful for the technology, though, because with blogs and Facebook and email listservs, we've stayed fairly well in touch as a class. I don't think an anthology like this would've been possible in an earlier era.
Here's our trailer. I made it - and yes it is perfectly okay to laugh. Basically, I wanted to convey how exciting, rewarding, and downright fun it is to be a part of the class of 2001. Come see what we have to say! (Though it's only fair to tell you, the antho will be free on Thurs-Fri, and I'll do another promotion post then)
