Many of you know and have read books by my friend, Jane Lindskold. Her Child of a Rainless Year is one of my favorite books of all time.Today is launch day for her latest book, Artemis Invaded, book two of what I sincerely hope will be a trilogy of Artemis novels. I say "I hope" because publishing is a fickle business. My friend Melinda Snodgrass's third book in her trilogy is coming out five years after the previous two. How best to ensure that the third Artemis comes out in a timely manner? Buy the first two books, of course!
