We're getting there

I blog this as my husband, Trevor, puts the finishing touches on my book before we upload it to Amazon.com. It'll take about 3 days to then appear in the listings, at which time I'll post links, but I'm very happy with how it's shaping up. Of course I feel neurotic about the actual book itself - I had a ton of fun writing it, but now that it's about to go live I feel the usual terror about other people's opinions.

But the look and feel of the thing is, I think, very nice. I've done pretty chapter headings and scene breaks that are in color, so will look striking on a Kindle Fire or other color reader. This isn't all that hard to do, so I'm a little surprised it isn't more common.

Oh, and I've just turned 36. It's been a good life so far, and I look forward to whatever comes next!
